  • Civil War Looms in Nigeria As "Presidency" Bans Social Media Operations

    In a statement obtained by IgbereTv in Abia State and sighted by Throwbacktimes Nigeria has it that Nigerian President Mohammedu Buhari has banned operation of a micro blogging and social media platform called Twitter. The statement also threatened to ban Facebook, others. 


    The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed issued the statement on Friday noon in Abuja. He reiterated that social media existence in Nigeria has so far threatened the Unity and cooperate existence of the country. 


    The statement also issued direct order to Nigeria Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to commence licensing of social media platforms operating in Nigeria. 


    Meanwhile, following constant Security breach in the Country, extrajudicial killings by Nigerian Security Agents, killings from bandits, kidnappers, high way brigands, incessant agitations, non-stop assassinations, recession and unbearable economy depression, other threats to social, political and religious existence trembling Nigerians at the moment. 


    Nigerians have therefore planned Nationwide protests dated to take place on June 12. The Protest is expected to commence from Abuja (Federal Capital Territory) to other parts of the country. 


    It crystal clear that Second Civil War is imminent in Nigeria. Meanwhile, according to intel obtained by Throwbacktimes Nigeria has it that the North is also ready to dismember from Nigeria. This was betrayed by proposal presented to National Assembly to consider the idea to change the Appellation of the country "United African Republic" to ascertain if the dead sense of Unity can be resuscitated or otherwise play dangerous games that would lead to Nigeria's disintegration.
