  • TEARS: Food Prices Increases Drastically Again As More Hunger Looms Across The Country (must see)
  • According to reports by several international economic experts that Nigeria will experience severe economic showdown come 2019. However, the report has generated anxiety for Nigerians and more hatred against the incumbent President Buhari's administration.

Ultimatetimestv blog has also learnt that Nigeria’s Consumer Price Index, CPI, otherwise referred to as inflation rate for goods and services, rose for the
second time in two months, after 18 months of consecutive decline.

The National Bureau of Statistic, NBS, in its latest CPI report published on Tuesday, said that the figures climbed again, albeit marginally, by 1.05 percent, from 11.23 percent in August, to 11.28 percent in September.

The report showed that food inflation rose to about 13.31 percent, from 13.16 percent in the previous month.

Despite the rising figures, the NBS said that core inflation, which reflects the actual inflation figures for the country’s economy, dropped marginally to about
9.8 percent from 10 percent, a movement Analysts say is close to government target of single inflation rate in the foreseeable future.

Indeed, this is a very unwelcoming news as Nigeria's economy has continued to indefinitely suffer setbacks since the existence of this present governance.
